Glenwood avenue manhunt
This project was a deep dive into time travel, exploring the creation of immersive, historically accurate graphic design props for film.
Set in February 1986, a brutal crime in a quiet New Jersey neighborhood becomes the centerpiece of a fictional crime story. To build the world around it, I designed three key artifacts: a chilling front-page newspaper, a police all-points bulletin warning of the fugitive on the run, and an arrest record documenting his capture, mugshot, and fingerprints.
The challenge lay in recreating the visual and textual style of the mid-80's, from period-appropriate fonts to copywriting that echoed journalistic tone and police terminology of the time.
Through careful research into newspapers, police documents and design practices of the era, I created design assets that feel authentic and enrich the cinematic narrative.
